Secret Drugs of Buddhism with Mike Crowley [ONLINE]
October 1 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join the Brooklyn Psychedelic Society’s President Colin Pugh for an interview with Mike Crowley, author of the book Secret Drugs of Buddhism.
It’s a well-known suggestion in the psychedelic field that some form of meditative practice can be exceptionally beneficial, not just for therapeutic and spiritual purposes but also for integration. One of the oldest and richest traditions that inform these practices is Buddhism.
Many advocates for the psychedelic experience have encountered Buddhism before, whether through reading the Sutras or practicing meditation. But have psychedelics themselves ever encountered Buddhism? And has Buddhism ever had an encounter with psychedelics?
We’ll be exploring these topics and more in our upcoming interview with Mike Crowley, author of the book Secret Drugs of Buddhism, at 7 pm on October 1st.
