Tripping on Shrooms: From Preparation to Integration [ONLINE]
September 20 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
About this Event
Sunday, Sept. 20 | 12-2p.m. PST| $15-$25 Suggested Donation
Mushrooms are definitely having a moment. Many folks in the psychedelic community—from researchers to activists—are now predicting they’re just five to ten years behind cannabis. They’re showing promise for depression, anxiety, alcoholism, nicotine addiction, eating disorders, trauma, and more. But what is the best way to trip on shrooms? How can you prepare to get the most of the experience? Can you take shrooms if you’re on SSRIs? How much should you take? Should you microdose or macrodose? And how can you make the most out of the experience once it’s over? DoubleBlind contributor and author of Your Psilocybin Mushroom Companion Michelle Janikian will cover all this in this two-hour webinar. If you’ve never tripped on shrooms before and want to take the plunge—or you’ve tripped casually and are ready to go deeper for your own healing, this is for you. The webinar will include a presentation on everything from preparation to dose and integration. There will also be time for questions from our readers.
Ten percent of the proceeds from this event will go to support Esperanza Mazateca, an organization supporting the Mazatec community around Huautla de Jimenez, Oaxaca. They’ve been hit hard by the COVID pandemic and the proceeds will go towards buying basic medical supplies for their community, such as masks and anti-bacterial gel.
**Note: this webinar will be recorded. Everyone who registers will receive the recording once the event is over**
